Candles by Deb is much more than just myself.  I will start with me and then you will see. 

My name is Deb Hogman and I currently live in Cordova, TN.  My husband Brian and I have been together for 18 years.  We have a 16 year old daughter - Ashleigh and 4 dogs.  I have done several MLM type businesses and have learned many things from them all, but becoming a Gourmet Candle Consultant was the "a ha" moment for me.  

I was introduced to these gourmet candles long before I joined.  I bought a candle at a local flea market and was so impressed at the candle.  Everything the lady told me, it did exactly that.  When I went back for another candle, she wasn't there.  Luckily enough, I was re-introduced to these gourmet candles by a person that was with my other direct marketing company.  My first thoughts when joining was this is a great product and can be marketed to men, women, businesses, friends, churches, schools... it is endless!

I bought the Fast Start Pack and when it arrived I was so excited I took it immediately to my day job.  Everyone loved smelling all the candle samples.  People at my day job were calling their friends and telling them about the candles and their smells and before I knew it, the orders started rolling in.

As I said before, Candles by Deb isn't just myself - its a family business.  My sister Sandi is my partner.  We work this business with all our heart and have so much fun doing it.  We both have our talents and they compliment each other.  Within one month of being with these gourmet candles we signed three recruits.  Talk about motivating!  We work our business recruiting, fundraising and retailing.  We truly enjoy doing expos and fairs - it is a fun way to sell the products, meet some great people and get the gourmet candles name out there. 

My sister, Sandi also has a 16 year old daughter, Jazmin and 1 dog.  We involve both our kids as much as we can.  They enjoy helping us out by getting the catalogs and scent samples together, distributing flyers and door hangers, telling all their friends' parents about our candles, all the way to helping work the booths at fairs and expos.  It is the type of business the whole family can be part of.  

Our goal for Candles by Deb is to continue to grow successfully and to expand our team.
